Kick Cancer's Ass

Early in 2014 we received the devastating news that my mother-in-law, Gladys Anderson had cancer. At that time she was told she most likely would only have 6 months to live, IF she survived the surgery. After a lengthy surgery and after having her Pancreas completely removed, Gladys pulled through, at this point, cancer free. Without a pancreas Gladys then had to adjust her life to deal with diabetes, as well to deal with a long road of cancer treatments. During the chemo Gladys had to deal with complication after complication and we just recently received the worst news...her cancer has returned, only this time it's in her lungs and at this point it doesn't look like there is much the doctors can do for her. To top things off, with the economy being in the state it has been, work has been scarce for her husband Ray. Throughout this whole ordeal, with the surgery, cancer treatments, diabetes, loss of her income, loss of Rays income, not ONCE has Gladys complained about anything. She has remained the positive, loving, caring, most generous person she has always been, happy to be alive and able to spend time with her family. With everything Gladys and the family have had to deal with over the last year, the last thing she needs to be worried about at this point are finances, the stresses from everything else would probably destroy any less of a woman. $1, $20, a prayer...anything would help and would be greatly appreciated!
