Only Two and 1/2 months until....
"LILI" opens at The Hip Pocket Theatre in Fort Worth, Texas!
Several of my productions for this company in the 1970's and 1980's are now considered classics, but I haven't worked in the theatre for the past 30 years. This production, a stage adaption of the film LILI was one that I didn't get to do back in that time, but always hoped to produce.
Second Chances are rare and I now believe should be embraced.
I have written the adaption and will direct this show which opens August 14, 2015 for a 4 week run.
The Setting, Costumes and Puppets are all my creations and the entire expense of these will be bourne by me and donated to the Theatre as my contribution to their 39th season.
What I am seeking here is an amount of funding to cover my personal living and traveling expenses while I return to Fort Worth once more and attempt to stage this very special production.
I'm more than halfway to my goal!
