She suffers from Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and many more diseases. For those of you who aren’t aware of Alzheimer’s it is a disease that deteraite the brain little by little. She loses recent memories, past memories, thoughts, behavior, and motor skills. That’s the progress I watched for the last few years.
It’s been a while since I spoke to my grandmother. It’s been a while since anyone has. Her husband of 40 years stands by her side day and night. He loves her with everything he has to offer. Her children have watched her be the women they know with strength and freedom to seeing her slowly each day lose everything she knows. She went from being so full of life, fun, and independent to being a women who lost the excitement and is now dependent on everyone.
She battles these diseases and more for many years now. Even through all the pain and suffering she still managed to stay loving. She loved everyone unconditionally, accepted everyone with their flaws, took everyone as her own child, and supported you 100 percent. The recent happenings that are leading up to her death, we were not prepared for. We need help from a few others to help give her a proper barial
