Leynes Family Hurricane Relief

My name is Draven Pascual, and this campaign is to raise funds to alleviate even the slightest amount of expenses the Leynes family will incur following the recent tropical storm. The Leynes's are close family friends whom I've had the pleasure of meeting at church back in 2014.

Caesar and Gemma Leynes and their three teenage children moved from California to Katy, TX in 2014. Despite many challenges along the way, including Caesar's devastating layoff in 2016, the loving parents have labored to meet their family's needs as well as provide funds for their two college-students' tuition. Just five months ago the Leynes family acquired a two-story house in Cinco Ranch under a mortgage, but recent flooding caused by TS Harvey has left them in a dire situation. By the grace of God, the family has evacuated their home, unharmed, but the house has suffered many damages that will require thousands of dollars in major repairs to the floors, walls, and MEP. Additionally, at least two cars are under high water, and the other two may not start after waters recede.






For the time being, the family will need to rent an apartment for 1-2 months as waters are not expected to recede for at least a month. They will also need to rent two cars so Caesar and Gemma may continue to take work during this time and bring their children to and from school.
At this moment we are unsure as to what the entailing expenses will amount to, but we have set the goal at $20,000, and are hopeful to raise any amount within the next month.
