Lexus Angels

For those of you who know my sister Alexis you know how amazing she is. She is funny, she loves her family and her friends, she is loyal and highly dependable. You could call her at 3 in the morning and ask her to help you move and she would be like "on my way!" She loves loves loves her wife, her dogs, karaoke, and singing. And she is always the life of the party...and that life has gotten away from her. She has been sober now for about 2 months but her liver has failed and she is waiting for a liver transplant. She recently got out of the hospital after being in there for 6 weeks but she has been readmitted do to her INR being high and is awaiting acceptance to Duke University for a bed and to hopefully wait for a liver transplant which more than likely won't be for 4 to 5 months so that she can prove that she is sober. For those of you who know Sue, Alexis's wife, you know that she has been working very hard to care for Alexis and to pay bills and get groceries and keep a house over their head continue to work go see Alexis at the hospital take her to appointments and between all the doctors and hospitals and bills it is definitely a big struggle and I know how hard it can be to see your loved one suffering and how much you want to do for them but one person is only that, just one person. I would like to ease some of their financial struggle so that they can focus on being healthy enough to make it to that liver transplant that they so desperately need.
