Lexi gets her first Laptop!

There are a lot of reasons that i want to get a laptop, but the biggest two at this point are mental health, and family. I have anxiety and depression and having a computer is a lifeline for me when I'm in a bad space because it enables to me to keep in touch with people and access my web based coping mechanisms quickly and in a way that is easy for me. Having a laptop really helps lighten the load for me.  I also want a laptop to keep in touch with my mother. In a couple of months I am moving away from home for the first time and a laptop will help me keep in touch with my family when I'm far away, as well as enable me to apply for jobs online which is how most companies prefer you to apply.  If you can contribute any amount of money it would mean so much to me.
   Your donations will be going to the purchase of a new macbook pro, apple care,and laptop insurance. If I exceed my goal I will put the funds towards the costs of living away from home. Again, this is not something that I could afford on my own, but that is nessicary for being an adult in this world. I have already considered trying to fund raise for a cheap laptop but they break really fast and then I would be in the position I am now.
