Let’s rally together to help raise funds to celebrate Daniel Levy, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who currently basks in the warmest love of his devoted wife Sandra, and daughters Maddie (20) and Chelsea (16).
Daniel (58) has an incurable brain disease and is currently on hospice care, at his family home in Long Beach, CA.
The family's resources for his continuous healthcare are running out. We, his extended family and friends, wish to help Daniel remain with constant care he needs and ease this burden on the family as they share in this heartbreaking time together.
THE LEVY FAMILY NEEDS OUR SUPPORT AND LOVE!
For the past four years Daniel has been suffering the rare and latent effects of brain radiation he received more than 25 years ago! He beat brain cancer in his early 30’s and was lucky enough to meet his best friend and wife Sandra 23 years ago. Their family was blessed with two beautiful daughters and life was wonderful.
But then, in 2013, their lives were forever changed by “SMART Syndrome” – (Stroke-like Migraine Attacks after Radiation Therapy . . . 22 years later in his case). This brain “disease” claimed Daniel’s ability to walk, talk, and even eat…yet he is still very much mentally and emotionally present with his family.
At $15,000 month for in-home care, this awful illness has also devastated their financial lives. Our hope is to assist the Levy's financially so they can focus on their valuable time together and journey to the end, loving each other every minute they have left.
