Levi Kocsis Road to Recovery

Donation protected
On June 18th my Levi was diagnosed with what was believed to be bacterial pneumonia but soon his parents learned that it was much worse and in fact he had Group A strep which became a blood infection and he ultimately went septic and started to wreak havoc on his organs.  It has been discovered that he has had watershed strokes and that he has brain damage but the extent is still unclear at this time.  He has been in hospital since June 18th and is currently awaiting transfer to Holland Bloorview rehabilitation clinic for brain injuries as soon as he is strong enough and can breathe without assitance.  His mother (Kelsey Kocsis) and father (James Kocsis) have been by his side the entire time and have been told that his rehab will take up to 1 year which is a tremendous emotional and financial burden but one that must be endured.  Levi is a fighter and he will get better but we need to raise funds to get him to the best place possible and so that his parents don’t have to focus on anything but their baby boy getting better.  There is a golf tournament taking place in Aylmer Ontario at Pleasant Valley Golf and Country Club for people who can attend on September 30th but for those who would like to make a monetary donation, please do so through this page.  Please give generously if possible and all funds raised will go towards the care of Levi and towards any expenses that occur with both parents off work at this time.  James Kocsis will be the benficiary of this account as Levi is under the age of 18.
