Ashbel/Chad Lettsome - Irma Relief

Friends, Family, Everyone 
My name is Chad Lettsome and I am from the Virgin Islands.  The devestating after effects of Hurricane Irma have changed all of our lives in the BVI forever.  We have lost homes,  employment, boats, vehicles, most of our belongings and general infrastructure of the island. 
 However in the wake of  this disaster we have life and BVIslanders are determined to rebuild our homes.  It is an overwhelming task and the road ahead is long.

Good News !!
Ashbel/Chad and Gayle's home has fared decent, we still have most of our roof, although it is damaged severely ! We lost most doors and windows so the inside of the house is totaled along with all its contents.

We need help !

Our goals:

-Begin to rebuild our home and assist others within our family/community to do the same.  Ashbel is by far a community strenght and he along with his brother Eddie are the patriarchs of our Lettsome family here in the BVI.  All of our relief will be to strenghthen them and their large families, which will undoubltly strenghthen and suppport the rest of the community.  This is DIRECT SUPPORT, NO middle men or charities involved.

Releif will come slow and we plan to accumulate items, building materials and tools until a secure means can get them to Tortola.

What we need;

-SOLAR GENERATORS (as fuel will be scarce. top priority. Goal Zero Yeti 1400 with Nomad 100 Solar Panels )
-Guttering & Roofing material (vital for collecting H2o )
-Rebuilding tools ie; saws, drillsl,jackhammer etc.
-Appliances- fridge, stove etc.
-Living necessities , bed, water pump etc..
-Doors & Windows

This will take months before we have any normality in our islands. Our source of income, the yacht charter and finance industries are gone. During the rebuild phase we will need immense suport to keep moving forward.
