Letters From Long Binh

My father passed away in 2007.  While going through all of his belongings over the following year, I found items from his time in Vietnam.  Audio recordings, written letters and photographs  from 1968 and 1969 bring him back to life.  I never talked to him about his time in the war and that is a big regret.  My wife and kids never had the chance to meet him so this is an opportunity to introduce him to them in a memorable way.  These materials, in addition to new interviews with those close to him at that turbulent time, will keep his memory alive.

The film is finally finished!  For 11 years this has been my passion project.  I have hit the festival circuit running and the film will make its debut next month at the Trinity International Film Festival in Detroit.
