Help for Ma’am Logronio/Mom Jane

Donation protected
We have seen the recent struggles of this loving family as they anxiously wait and pray for the recovery of their mom (Jane Logronio) from a sudden stroke.  They are devastated to see her in this condition but hopeful for her healing. Through all the medical tests and procedures, and the upcoming rehab and home care, the financial obligations are mounting and overwhelming.

On the evening of March 6th, a few weeks before she was scheduled to go back to the Philippines, Mom Jane Logronio suffered from an unexpected stroke and has since been confined at Holy Cross Hospital in Maryland. It was sudden and shocking. The stroke brought about significant injury to her left brain paralyzing the right side of her body, affecting her speech and ability to effectively communicate. It is painful to watch. Heartbreaking.

To some, she is Mommy Jane or Tita Jane, but to many, she is “Ma’am Logronio”. Mom Jane is a mother of 3 girls (Hazel, Christine, Jeanette)  and a very kind-hearted and sweet person. She is a Nurse and was also a professor at Silliman University College of Business, and College of Nursing for numerous years. She has always been one of the most understanding and loving teachers. She has touched and impacted many people’s lives with her encouragement and caring ways. Mom Jane came to Maryland USA about 6 months ago as a tourist to visit her children and spend time with her youngest daughter’s babies, Savvy and Cassie, ages 2 years and 5 months respectively. She is a wonderful grandma and amazing to the kids. Both little girls adore her and miss her so much! Ma’am Jane was staying with her daughter Jeanette and Rainier Calumpang.

The family’s struggle is real. The daily needs to care and help Mom Jane is quite immense. Her road to recovery is long, challenging and uncertain, but she has the most optimistic spirit and she is ready to fight. The family is worried but remains positive and faithful in prayer. Mommy Jane’s recovery will be an uphill battle for her and her caregivers. She will require significant care and a group of specialized rehabilitation team to help her get better a little bit each day. As a tourist, she does not have insurance and most of the expenses are not covered by any charity aid. This is where we ask for your help — any amount of financial assistance for Mommy Jane’s hospital care and rehabilitation journey will be very much appreciated. Please find it in your hearts to help and give even just a little bit to help lessen the family’s worries and for her to get the required care. A little will go a long, long way.

We are all hoping, praying and rooting for Mommy Jane’s recovery. Thank you for all your love, prayers, and help! God bless your hearts.

***The funds will be 100% used for Ma’am Jane’s medical and rehab expenses.  We have set the  campaign beneficiary as Rainier Calumpang, the husband of Jeanette. He will be withdrawing the funds in behalf of the Logronio family. ***
