Let's Shrink the Vicar!

The pandemic hit many individuals, businesses and community groups hard and churches have not escaped the financial hit. Our inability to rent out our hall, in addition to not being able to hold regular collections at in-person services,  has devastated our income, though the bills still continue to come in. We are still committed to outreach in the community we serve, not least with our food parcel deliveries, but we have a duty to care for the building, to preserve it for worship for this and future generations. After the pounds started to creep on over the Christmas period, I thought I'd like to combine my weight loss and healthier eating journey with raising some much-needed funds for Lofthouse Church. PS. Our daughter got engaged on Christmas Day, so I also need to get in shape for the wedding!!!
