Let’s Share the Politics of Love!

My name is Philip, and I’m a writer from Aotearoa New Zealand.

Since 2015, I’ve been developing the Politics of Love - a vision of politics that affirms the importance of people, and extends beyond us to non-human animals and the natural environment. With my writing, I argue that politics can and should be loving.

Now, I’m raising funds to give talks on the Politics of Love.

My aim is to take this vision of politics to other countries, and make connections that will enable me to spread the Politics of Love even further in the future.

The length of my trip, and which cities I visit, will depend on the amount of money we raise. I’m hoping to speak in many different places, so I’ve set a target of $7,500; but I’ll plan my itinerary around how much is raised - whether it’s a little or a lot.

The funds will be used for venue hire, travel expenses, and promoting the Politics of Love.

I’ve developed a climate plan for my trip, to ensure I travel responsibly. I’ll opt for land travel rather than air travel where it’s viable; and when I do have to fly, I’ll offset my emissions.
