Let's send some HOPE to Venezuela

My name is Nathan Doolin and I have to do something. Venezuela is in the midst of complete collapse. It is a situation that hits close to home as my wife , Oriana, is Venezuelan and very proud of it. Nearly her entire family and many of her friends still live in Caracas, and I have had the pleasure of being a part of the family.
What has happened to many of them still there-food shortages, medicine shortages, no opportunities for the future, and the economy collapsing has been no fault of their own and instead steered by a dictator clinging to his idea of socialism. It is a humanitarian disaster and we are in a position to help. After asking for help to send care packages on Facebook, we have received tremendous support and many donations of essential items needed for daily life in Venezuela. Now the time is approaching to send it there.
The logistics of sending aid is a complicated one as the government denies there is a humanitarian crisis and blocks/confiscates most items sent to help people. This is why we have not gone the charity route and taken matters into our own hands. Luckily, there is another way and we have found a company that can send the packages to Venezuela with less risk than sending with a charity.
The money raised from this will go to the transportation costs and anything extra will be used for purchasing additional items to send. Whatever the amount, it all helps.
Details: We will be driving to Katy, TX mid-July and dropping off all donations at MiCargaHouston. Packages will be shipped via door-to-door service to family in Caracas. Packages will then be dispersed to neighborhoods and food kitchens.
