Sophie just a 23 brave woman battling a Grade 4 Glioblastoma for the past 18 months.

Sadly, on the 3rd February 2025 Sophie received the devastating news that the treatment which was meant to prolong her life isn’t working. She’s had surgery to remove the tumour twice; on the 23rd June 2023 which removed 95% of the tumour and again on 2nd July 2024 to remove some new regrowth, alongside multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Her tumour has not only grown but has now spread across to the other side of her brain, which now rules out any further surgery. Due to this NHS cannot offer any further treatment to prolong her life.

we have found a clinic in Germany who provide immunotherapy treatment which is a targeted treatment for her specific tumour. This is the only option she has to prolong her life. She needs to start this treatment as soon as possible to try and receive the best outcome. We’re trying to fund this ourselves, but the overall cost is up to £200,000 and this just isn’t possible. We are endlessly grateful for everything everyone has done and we’re once again asking for the help of our amazing community family and friends to come together to help us raise these funds!
