Our mission has been to nurture the curiosity and passion of children and young individuals, guiding them to appreciate and safeguard our environment, thereby enhancing the quality of education. Our legacy spans 50 years, where we've trained countless women, artisans, and farmers in cultivating cacti, especially the prickly pear, and producing natural dyes. Beyond this, we've revived age-old dyeing techniques and introduced innovative uses for the grana cochineal dye. Operated as a non-profit, the museum thrives on its self-generated income, largely from guided tours and the sale of our exquisite natural dyes.
