Lets Replace Detention with Meditation WPB

There is a Nationwide trend of replacing detention with Yoga & Meditation in schools.  It’s time for our community to do the same.  After the recent rise in violence in our schools we have partnered with several organizations to introduce Yoga & Meditation to all age groups and the results speak for themselves.  

Every year our organization looks for ways to give back to the community we serve.  In 2018 we adopted the 3rd grade class at Pleasant City Elementary in WPB and along with our clients supplied over 60 students with not just Back to School Backpacks but backpacks filled with everything on their supply list.  We wanted Pleasant City Elementary’s 3rd grade class to start the year off with no stress & equipped to take on the year!!!  

Did you know how critical reading on grade level is by the 3rd grade? 

In 2019 we want to do more!  We have decided to partner with 8 of our local schools to certify 2 teachers in each school through OM Yoga & Wellness Studios  200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Program.  In addition to the certification each school will recieve a hands on implementation coach for the entire school year.  

OM Yoga & Wellness Yoga Teacher 200 Hour Training Program (YTT200) is recognized by Yoga Alliance for certification Worldwide. OMs Global program breaks down the 200 required hours of study and practice over either 5-weeks or 10 Weekends. OM currently runs the program once per quarter at OM Yoga & Wellness Studios LLC and twice a year internationally.

The Curriculum is as follows:
Introduction to Yoga
History of Yoga
Four Main Paths
Styles of Yoga for Kids & Teens
The Eight Limb Path
Principles of Practice
Avoiding Injuries
Principles of Preparation
The Art of Sequencing
Yoga Energetics & Philosophy
Meditation & Mindfulness
Implementation Planning 

Participants  also receive specialized workshops on:
Pranayama Techniques 
Mindfulness & Meditation
Exploring Trauma through Mindfulness
Implementation & Planning for Success  


Required Textbooks will be  sponsored by ELB Solutions LLC.

For the 5 week Program - Class Times are  Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from and Saturday 9:30-5:30p

*10 hours of classroom observations are also required

For the 10 week Program – Fridays, Saturday & Sundays 9:30-5:30p

The cost of the course $4500 per person including all books, 50% of Tuition will be Sponsored By: OM Yoga & Wellness Studios LLC.   Making the Tuition per teacher $2250. 

All participants will be  certified as RYT Registered Yoga Teachers and ready to teach upon graduation.

This program is under the umbrella of OM Yoga & Wellness Studios LLC a Registered Teaching Studio & YACEP Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider.

All of our Teachers are E-RYT Expert Registered Yoga Teachers & RYT500 Registered Yoga Teachers with 500 Hours.
