 In the early hours of August 1, 2026, NÖAM was completely destroyed by a fire that authorities are investigating as a possible act of arson. Overnight, the owners lost not only their restaurant, but the result of years of unwavering dedication, hard work, sacrifice, and significant recent renovations. Thankfully, no one was injured, but the emotional and financial impact has been nothing short of devastating.

 This fundraiser has been created to support the owners as they begin the incredibly difficult journey of rebuilding. While insurance may help with some of the losses, it cannot replace years of hard work, nor can it fully cover the immense cost of rebuilding a business from the ground up. Your donation will help restore NÖAM, support the owners through this challenging time, and bring this beloved community landmark back to life.

Dans la nuit du 1er août 2026, le restaurant NÖAM a été complètement détruit par un incendie que les autorités considèrent comme un possible acte criminel. En quelques heures seulement, les propriétaires ont perdu bien plus qu’un restaurant : ils ont vu disparaître le fruit de nombreuses années de travail acharné, de sacrifices, de passion et d’importantes rénovations récemment réalisées. Heureusement, personne n’a été blessé, mais les conséquences émotionnelles et financières sont immenses.

C’est un lieu de rassemblement où familles et amis se retrouvaient pour partager des repas, célébrer les moments importants de la vie et créer des souvenirs précieux. Pour plusieurs, NÖAM était une véritable deuxième maison, reconnue pour son accueil chaleureux, sa générosité et son esprit de communauté.

Aujourd’hui, nous faisons appel à la générosité de notre communauté de Montréal, de partout au Canada et d’ailleurs dans le monde afin d’aider les propriétaires à traverser cette épreuve. </span>

Bien que certaines pertes puissent être couvertes par les assurances, celles-ci ne pourront jamais remplacer des années de travail, de dévouement et les coûts considérables liés à la reconstruction d’une entreprise.</span>
