Let’s make Tommy Webster’s Dreams come True

48638598_1591571022603754_r.jpegI am raising money for my Beautiful BabyBoy, Tommy was a normal energetic 5 year old boy, in May 2020,  Tommy was diagnosed with Heptoblastoma. This is a rare cancer of the Liver And has also already spread to his little lungs. Tommy was mis diagnosed with constipation for 8weeks before the hospital did a ultrasound scan and told me them 4 words, that I will never forget for the rest of my life.... we have found something! After a transfer to marsdens Hopsital, Tommy was then transfered to Kings hospital to have his biopsy and his line fitted. Tommy was then started on his chemotherapy treatment within 2days after this was carried out. Within 2 days tommy was rushed into intensive care where his oxygen levels had dropped. After a short stay in intensive care, he is starting to make a little progress. Tommy has 2 siblings, a younger brother who is 2 and a older sister who is 7. My little family has for the moment been torn apart, my mum is caring for tommys siblings while I stay in hospital for his treatment. Tommy has never spent a night away from his brother and sister, and they are all missing each other terribly. Due to the coronavirus situation at present, siblings are not allowed to visit. I believe tommy has got the strength in his little body to do everything to overcome this terrible disease that has hit my Son and his family, it’s the worst thing ever to even begin to describe the emotional upset this has caused. Tommy is currently at stage 4 and we have been told it is aggressive. The disease has started to spread, and doctors have started chemotherapy treatment already.  The doctors have told me that my little boy has a 50/50 chance of overcoming this, and after chemotherapy, surgery will be discussed and then possibly a liver transplant. The treatment plan is 7-9months. We have already spent a few weeks in hospital, between myself and my mum splitting treatment time’s to cater for the rest of my family’s needs too. Tommy is still the happiest little boy ever, always has a smile on his face. He has adapted to life with his wiggly ( his line) and his feeding tube down his nose. He has shown me and The doctors his progression and they are happy with his progress. I know this is the start of a little journey for me and my family, We have to let the storm pass for the rainbow to become present. I hope and pray in my heart my little boy will overcome this terrible disease, no words can explain how you feel, hearing words, seeing your little boy so poorly and not being able to do nothing but support and love him and make him that strong little boy he was before we had this diagnose. Tommy has always been mummy’s special star boy, and always will. I have all the hopes in the world to make my little boys dreams come true with whatever it is I’m able to do, to make him smile, to make him better and to make his little life that easier to live with this horrible disease.  You never in a million years think that you could be affected and your life could change. Our life has changed for THe moment but it won’t be forever because I know in my heart my little strong star boy will overcome this!!!
