Let's Love on Baby Lili

As we all know, Courtney and Brelan are two of the brightest lights in our community.  Their happiness, optimism and lust for life are infectious.  Even though they faced several obstacles along their journey into parenthood, these two shined with positivity and hope.  It started with a challenging conception, then a miscarriage, another challenging conception, a down syndrome diagnosis, a heart condition, fetal growth restriction and a premature delivery. They have been on such an emotional rollercoaster and have stayed positive and strong the entire ride.  Baby Lili was born on December 13, 2017 at 34 weeks weighing 2lbs 14oz.  She is doing great and quite the little fighter but there is still a long road ahead.  In Hawaiian, Ohana means family or bound together.  I have never seen such love and strength between two people.  Their Ohana is such an inspiration.  Lili truly is their miracle baby and the only thing they should focus on right now is her.  I’ve been friends with Courtney for over 20 years and she’s not one to ask for help.  I started this campaign to give people who love Courtney, Brelan and baby Lili the opportunity to help because I know so many of us want to and aren’t sure how.  The money raised in this campaign will help with the astronomical medical bills they will be faced with after Lili’s stay in the NICU and her heart surgery within the next six months.
