Let's honor Ryan by helping his family

Donation protected

We are devastated to share that Ryan Gaudette passed away on July 15th. The Gaudette Family lost their son/brother/husband/father on July 15th to COVID. He was 46 and is survived by his mother(Calla), father(Rick), sister(Heather), wife(Kelly), and two children(Abby and Ian). We are asking for any support that can be given to his Wife and two small children. His death was sudden and unexpected as well as the end of life costs.

As you know, Ryan was a prideful person who would help others out in a heartbeat, but often did not ask for help for himself. Let's honor Ryan's giving and caring spirit and support his family during this time. We are asking for support to be given to his wife, Kelly and their two small children, Abby and Ian, to pay for funeral expenses, medical bills and future expenses etc. Any donations remaining will be put in 529 accounts for the children(college/vocational accounts) for when they are older.

His loving sister, Heather, wrote this beautiful and heartfelt tribute which honors his memory, more than anyone else can.

My brother, Ryan, was sarcastic, funny, and just a nice guy.

He worked hard, on the job and at home. From home improvements to impeccable lawn care.

A ballet bar in Abby’s room to practice her plié, a hand made wood case for Ian’s matchbox cars, and a room decor to match. An immaculate pool that the kids loved to swim in.

Abby  inherited his determination, and Ian his love for all things cars.  Both inherited his playfulness and sense of humor.

My brother, Ryan, was also my parents’ first born, the cool older cousin, the loyal and fun friend, the reliable colleague. A nephew. A brother and son in law. A neighbor.

My brother, Ryan, was also unvaccinated. I believe if he knew, firsthand, what we know now, he would have decided differently. If he knew he was watching Abby’s last recital, or cheering Ian on at his last baseball game, or celebrating with his wife their last anniversary or June birthdays, he would have decided differently.

Don’t wait until you know it firsthand. We aren’t standing on a soap box, or making a political argument. We’re hoping that this prevents a wife from losing her husband too early, children forced to miss their father way too early, parents from burying their first child, friends from being robbed of more good times, a wife without one last hug.

Do it for your mom and dad who should never have to bury a child. Do it for your sister who wasn’t supposed to be an only child so soon. Do it for your wife who deserves to have you lying next to her. Do it for the friends who rely on you. Do it for you. Do it for Ryan.

Who will you do it for?
