Trent Carter Memorial Support
As many of you may now know, Trent Ryan Carter, age 17, of Breckenridge, passed away, Saturday August 21, 2021 as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
Trent was born March 8, 2004 in Alma, the son of Nicholas and Lisa (Dunn) Carter. He was currently in his senior year at Breckenridge High School and had the best mullet in the school, maybe even the county. Trent was a member of the Cross Country, Track and Bowling teams. He was an all-state runner and well known and liked by many of his competitors. Trent will be remembered as being dependable, a problem solver, handy, talented welder and woodworker, mechanically inclined, natural at everything he did, a pleasure to be around and he always brightened the day of those around him with his warm personality and quick wit.
With so many amazing people within our great community reaching out to help, we wanted to do something with meaning and results, so we are launching a fundraiser to help the family with burial and expenses, so that they don't have that burden to bear on top of processing the shock and grief that they are currently in. It's our hope that the expression of love and support in this way, will some how lift the spirits of the Carter Family as they walk through this time. He is survived by his parents, brother Colten, grandparents Nancy Gee, Dennis Carter, Jerry McGill, Cindy Ostrom, Gary Dunn and Sue Klenow, great grandparents, Arlene Foster, Vic and Connie McGill, aunts Kim (Pat) Rossmann, Alyssa (Alex) Wanless, Sarah (Rob) Barnhart, Theresa (Tony) Mezo, uncle Jake (Ashley) McGill, cousins Jessica, Julia, Clayton, Hayley, Lauralei, Waylon, Sophia, Weston, Tripp, Emersyn, Adalyn, Aidan and many close friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 27, 2021 at 11 am at the Lux and Whiting Funeral Chapel, Breckenridge. Interment will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery.
