Let's help those living on the street

For many in the community, the pandemic has hit hard, leaving many who were already vulnerable, even more vulnerable. If you're like me, when you drive through the City of Hamilton, you can't help but notice the number of people trying to survive on the streets. It's heartbreaking.

We can do more.... and I know many of us want to do more....

So, I am going to spend two nights sleeping outside this week...I will say that unlike those suffering from homelessness, I will have access to a warm, clean bathroom, and a tent to help protect me from the elements..... but I can assure you, it will be anything but comfortable.

There are two goals here: First and foremost, I want to raise awareness... real awareness, of how awful it is to have to spend even one hour in the cold, unable to warm up, no access to a warm meal, dry clothes, or any of the other comforts we all take for granted.  Second, I want to raise money...... money that will go directly to feeding and clothing the homeless in Hamilton and Brantford. 

All money raised will go directly to Men's Street Ministry. Roger Boyd and his team work tirelessly to get food to those who need it most on the street, but they also provide hope and kindness to those suffering. If you can donate even a small amount, please do.
