Help Sissy Beat Cancer!
 
Do you believe in Christmas Miracles? I know
I do! My friend recently found out that she has
cancer. Typically she’s the one helping others
but now she needs our help and we have it
within our power to make a difference!
 
Sissy has an inspirational story to share with
others. For the last 8 years she has overcome
lingering health effects from a life changing
car accident in 2012 and 2 subsequent car
accidents after that. She always kept a
positive attitude about her recovery. Then
2020 reared its ugly head and in the middle of
a lock down she noticed a lump in her neck and was diagnosed with Stage One head and neck
squamous cell cancer. The news no one ever
wants to hear.
 
Sissy has chosen to attack this disease with a
positive holistic approach and needs our help
to pay for treatment costs, blood work and
IV’s, travel funds, possible accommodations
for treatment in Atlanta, GA and more. She’s
working with an organization that allows
individual donors who give over $1000 to this
project to be eligible for a tax write off. The
ministry is called Helping Hands and they have
certain tax certificates to be able to do this.
This is an accountable way to pay medical bills
and costs associated with this health crisis.
Should there be any funds left over, the
unused funds will be split between several
worthy nonprofits doing work to help cancer
patients.
 
So here’s where the miracle comes in – A
generous donor has stepped in and donated
$25,000! They even offered to match an
additional $12,500 of any funds we raise to
help reach her goal of $50,000 towards
treatments to help her beat cancer! We need
to raise $12,500 in order to make this
Christmas Miracle Happen!
