My name is Jon Tomchek an iron worker out of Ironworkers Local 8 Milwaukee Wisconsin. I met Seneca working in Georgia at Vogtle 3&4. In our year working together we forged a friendship that I knew would last forever. Us ironworkers can be a little rough around the edges but Seneca was different. Seneca had a heart of gold. He would do anything he could to help those in need.Whether it was helping at work or just listening he was there. Oh and he’s easily the best hand I ever worked with. Ironworkers Local 402 West Palm Beach was blessed to have him!We all were. The guy just got it. Our job can be hard but he made it look seamless. In our time together we talked a lot about family and what was important in life. He always told me life was short spend time with your family.Losing his sister put everything in perspective that we only get so much time on this earth, make the best of it!Senecas pride and joy was his family, his youngest daughter Anita and his older daughter Amina(he always called her Da Vinci) and the love of his life his wife Miss Judi.
Wednesday after spending a day working in the hot Florida sun doing whatever he could to provide for his family, Seneca got overheated and took a bad fall at home landing on his head. Our brother, friend, father, cousin Mr Seneca Dixon passed away from his injuries.
All funds gathered by this fundraiser will be given to Senecas wife. Seneca always had our back let’s all show him that we have his as well.
Goodbye my friend until we meet again
