Help Sascia's Beautiful Foot Heal Well

Sascia fell from a ladder the first week of December and fractured his calcaneus bone and another bone in his ankle. It turns out this type of fracture is really complicated to treat and it most likely to require reconstructive surgery as well as many months of physical therapy. Doctors at Bellevue Hospital scheduled him for surgery on Tuesday the 8th, but when Sascia went there they told him that the surgery was too complicated to perform at this stage and they decided to have him on a cast for 6 weeks and then reevaluate.
 
Sascia is a single father. He works incredibly hard to support his son and to support his elderly mother that lives with them. Sascia does not have a health insurance and disability will only cover a fraction of his monthly bills. 
 
Sascia works on his feet. He is been a waiter for decades and he recently was working in a retail shop.
 
We are hoping to raise $15.0000 or more for him. By our calculations this amount would give Sascia a safety net for 6 months for living expenses and would provide him the ability to start his physical therapy as soon as the doctors tell him to do so.
 
Donations will go directly to Sascia to provide for his household as he has always done and to take care of himself as well.

Sascia è caduto da una scala la prima settimana di dicembre e si è fratturato il calcagno e un altro osso della caviglia. Risulta che questo tipo di frattura è davvero complicato da trattare e molto probabilmente richiederà un intervento di chirurgia ricostruttiva e molti mesi di terapia fisica. I medici del Bellevue Hospital lo hanno programmato per un intervento chirurgico martedì 8, ma quando Sascia è andato lì gli hanno detto che l'operazione era troppo complicata da eseguire in questa fase e hanno deciso di averlo su un cast per 6 settimane e poi rivalutare. Sascia è un padre single. Lavora incredibilmente duramente per sostenere suo figlio e per sostenere la sua anziana madre che vive con loro. Sascia non ha un'assicurazione sanitaria e l'invalidità coprirà solo una frazione delle sue bollette mensili. Sascia lavora in piedi. È cameriere da decenni e recentemente ha lavorato in un negozio al dettaglio. Speriamo di raccogliere $ 15,0000 o più per lui.
