Let's help Sarah Schmitt finish her education.

Sarah was adopted at birth by Naomi and Jim Schmitt. She is currently 18 years old, a graduate of Florence Christian School, and attending cosmetology school at Florence Darlington Tech. Today she is to start her 3rd semester of her first year. Last week, her adopted mother, Naomi Howes Schmitt took her heavenly flight after suffering from a heart attack, open heart surgery, a stroke, blood clots to the head, and ovarian cancer.
Sarah spent every night sitting up at the hospital with her mom, and she was there with her mom for her last and final breath.
Naomi has spent many days, nights, weeks, months and even years working to make sure that Sarah received the best education.
At the present time, Sarah does not have sufficient funds to even start her next semester in school.
There is nothing more that would thrill her mom than to know that she was able to finish school, get a job, and stand on her own.
I along with several of Naomi's friends, family and coworkers are asking you to honor Naomi by helping her daughter finish her education.
Naomi was adopted herself, she worked in the medical profession as an RN for 40 years, most of her years in Florence at MUSC. She worked hard, and long hours to try to help Sarah. Now, it's up to all of us to help make her education not just a dream started, but a dream she can be allowed to finish with our help.
I especially would like to challenge the medical profession to reach out, and help one of your colleagues child get the love and support needed for her education.
