Lets Help Mercedes Have A Home Birth!

Birth is such a powerful moment in anyone’s life no matter how it all plays out. Our friend Mercedes last birth was a home birth and she never felt more in her power and in love with the experience of having the comfort of her own home and all her people there with her to support her as she brought Harper earth side.

As she approaches this upcoming birth, feelings of fear and anxiety are filling her and when she thinks of returning to a hospital birth, Baylee and Colton were both born in a hospital. The thought of going back has made her clear that she does not want to do so unless absolutely medically needed.

When she has talked with Baylee and Colton about being present at Harpers birth, they loved it because they could come and go and didn’t have to hear all the machines and... they could eat food they liked! They loved going to bed in their own beds and snuggling up with a new baby sister at the end of the birth. They loved being home.

Being home and comfortable and feeling safe to go into labor and have a baby in a peaceful environment is Mercedes vision for this next birth and that is where we come in! As a part of her community, I know you have seen the amount of support that Mercedes shows for the community and most importantly for our children.
