Lets Help Krys Through A Rough Time

Donation protected
Krys March is a strong woman.  I don't know anyone who would disagree.  She has been through more than most people could imagine, but still manages to perservere with life.  She cares deeply for her friends, family and her dogs;  there's nothing she wouldn't do for them given the opportunity.  Now she needs our help.

My husband and I spent our holidays this year staying with her and her 18 dogs.  We did what we could to help her and learn from her and her dogs.  When Krys and I went to the Two Rivers 200 mile dog sled race in January, Krys ran into some difficultes.  Starting with a flat tire on the way there (resulting in the purchase of 2 new tires in AK), an unfortunate scratch from the race, and then ending with more vehicle issues on the way home.  We noticed a burning smell coming from the Jeep and the rear locker light kept flashing.  Krys also noticed the Jeep was not handling well but believed it was because of the icy roads. When we pulled over and looked underneath, there was a small plastic hose melted by the rear diff.  When Krys took the trailer off the next day at home, there was some kind of burnt fluid frozen all around the hitch.  She managed to book the Jeep into a shop on her first day back at work (last week) to have it looked at.  A couple hours after she dropped it off, they called her to advise that the diff had been leaking for some time and the whole axle assembly needs to be replaced due to the extreme heat that was produced.  The cost is going to be $4800+ and would be 10 business days to get the parts in.

She doesn’t have access to that much money right now. She has rented a car so she could get to work and back but the costs will keep adding up the longer she has the rental car.  She's been trying to borrow money, with negative results as there's still a truck loan of her ex's with her name on it.  She's had to cancel the other two races she was going to do as she can't afford to go, so her race season is over.  She's not leaving home except for work and necessary appointments, in order to save money.  She's having to take on more 12 hr shifts at work, making things even harder as with driving time it adds up to 15 hr days or nights.

Krys would do anything for a friend.  I think it's time her friends could help her out in her time of need.  She won't ask for money, she's not like that.  If you're able, even just a few dollars, please consider helping her out.
