Helping our friend,Keith Ballantine

Donation protected
UPDATE March 25.    Our friend Keith is still struggling to heal his body from the car accident last year.  Their family could really use your help and prayers.  Unfortunately, as time went on the screws in Keith's leg started migrating out of place and the fracture remained unhealed.   At the end of February, it was decided by the orthopedic surgeon that Keith needed to see a trauma ortho. This surgeon will attempt to revise the fracture, using extensive hardware, rods, and cables. It is still uncertain if his leg can be saved. As of right now,  Keith's surgery is scheduled for April 11.  Deanna also found herself in the hospital at the end of 2018, requiring surgery and time to heal, this has caused tremendous financial hardship for them because she could not work during this time.

It is times like this when our friends need us the most.   Think about what it would cost you and your family to get by without your income or your significant other's income for a couple of months.   It would be financially devastating for most of us.  It is very hard for people to ask for help, especially financial help.  It is my hope that some of you who have not already helped,  will be in a financial position to help Keith and his family out by making a donation to this Go Fund Me page.

One thing I know about Keith, Deanna, and Allison is that they are very kind-hearted people, who would help a friend in need in any way that they could.  Please join me in helping our friends out if you are in a position to do so.  No donation is too small, and every donation will be very much appreciated.   Lastly, please continue to keep Keith and his family in your prayers!!!

Second Post - Since I first started this Go Fund Me Page, Keith was in second car accident due to his blood sugar dropping unexpectedly and drastically (insulin dependent diabetic) which has caused him to sustain devastating injuries, including a shattered femur requiring a metal plate and 40 screw to piece it together, as well as fractured ribs and many other injuries.   He has been hospitalized for well over a week and the pain management has been very difficult.  His road to recovery will take many weeks.   His injuries are life altering, so any help you can give him and his family with donations and/or prayer would be greatly appreciated.

Original Post - As you may know, our friend, Keith Ballantine, has recently been fighting a very dangerous bacterial infection which not only has threatened his life but has also put him at risk for possibly requiring amputation of his foot in the future.  After a very near death scare, Keith managed to pull through the most critical part of the infection and is now at home requiring a pic line to administer very strong doses of antibiotics for several weeks.  Keith needs to rest and take care of his health in order for the best possible prognosis and recovery.   He also recently got in a car accident, due to his health.  Thankfully, no one was seriously injured.  But the accident served as a serious wake-up call to him that he needs to be resting and not trying to work right now.
