<div>So now we need to rally around Emerald and her daughter to help her get settled away safely. They had to leave the home with assistance from state troopers in genuine fear for her life. Because she's been a stay at home mom and was only able to return to part time work while juggling managing the household and being a full time mom, she doesn't have savings to retain legal representation or get established in new housing. As is often the case with victims of domestic abuse, she was forced to flee without the financial means to safely leave a dangerous situation. Let's all show our love and support by helping begin again and move from victim to survivor to thriver.
