Let's help Aindrea become a mommy!
Our names are Cynda and Jordan and we are writing today on behalf of our dear friend Aindrea, in the hopes of helping her realize her dream of becoming a mother.
We hear a lot about motherless children but something seldom talked about are childless mothers - the people who long to raise a child but for a multitude of reasons, their arms remain empty. Aindrea is that person. If you know her personally, you know the warmth of being in her presence. You know how kind, compassionate, caring and selfless she is. We can't imagine anyone who could make a better Mom.
As many of you may know, Aindrea and her husband Shae have embarked on the start of a journey to build a family - a journey that can be long, gruelling, and expensive due to the distance between them. The Ontario government has a program that funds 1 round of IVF treatment per person, once per lifetime. And while that may sound like a blessing, the heartbreaking reality is that most people require more than one round of IVF to become pregnant, and even more still to bring home a baby at the end of it all. Aindrea completed this first round of IVF and was able to celebrate a pregnancy for a short while before it ended painfully in a miscarriage. Her Doctor has encouraged her to try again and still feels hopeful that a positive outcome is possible.
IVF is an incredibly private and personal procedure and so reaching out for support this way can feel scary - like you are potentially exposing yourself to a whole world of opinions and advice. We are of the opinion that asking for support is incredibly brave and we are honoured to be supporting Aindrea and Shae on this journey.
To offer practical support for their journey, we have created this opportunity with the hopes that some of you will find it in your hearts to support Aindrea with her dream of becoming a mother and that we will all get to see the joy on the face of the lucky child who gets to call Aindrea their mommy. Any donations made will be used solely for IVF treatments, including procedural costs and medications (which cost a minimum of $15,000 per round). Anything not used for IVF treatments will be donated to Aindrea's church community - Wellspring Worship Centre. Please feel free to share this page with anyone who might wish to provide support.
Thank you for your time and consideration. We wish you and your families all of the very best.
