Hi, I'm fundraising to help my sister with vet bills for her recently adopted dog, Nicky. Nicky is a 6-year old rescue from South Korea. He arrived in Canada all thin, with his ear cut and a couple of skin problems. His ears make him uniquely more handsome but we cannot imagine the horrors he faced living alone and fending for himself on the streets. My sister fostered him for three months and during this period, he knew what it felt like to be loved, relaxed, and not have to worry about food, or his environment. We don't know much else about Nicky up until a couple of weeks ago. His skin was getting better and he is slowly gaining weight, but suddenly he stopped eating and was lethargic. He was taken to the emergency vet and after multiple tests, we found out he is battling cancer. All his internal organs, especially his liver and spleen are enlarged. The vet has given the option for chemotherapy to try to save his life. We want to give our all to give Nicky the best life but we really need help. He is the sweetest, most behaved gentleman - he deserves to see more of the good side of life. Help us give him the tomorrow he so wants and deserves to see.
