There are those in this world that devote their time to helping others, never asking anything for themselves. Alyson Gannon is one of those people, and she needs our help now.

Alyson has been diagnosed with metastatic cancer, which has infiltrated her lymph system. She has begun a lengthy course of treatment to battle this disease. The effects of her illness, compounded by the side effects from her treatment, have forced her to withdraw from the majority of her pending work and will prevent her from taking on new work. She has medical expenses not covered by her insurance plan, and living expenses she is unable to cover without a steady source of income.

As is typical of Alyson, she has chosen to keep her condition to herself for several months to avoid burdening others, and has now used up the majority of her savings in supporting herself. Her friends have insisted upon starting this GoFundMe account on her behalf to help her through this very difficult time, so that she can keep the focus on her recovery from this debilitating and frightening illness.

Alyson has devoted the majority of her life to helping others in need. She has helped hundreds of orphaned children find loving homes, including her own adopted son, brother and sister. She is an animal lover who has taken in numerous rescue pets over the years. She has also donated substantial time and charity to multiple wildlife rescue organizations around the world, including an elephant rescue sanctuary. In her professional life, Alyson has devoted thousands of hours to facilitating workshops, mentorships and practice groups in the spiritual community. She consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty, providing guidance and support and serving as a cheerleader for others.

Alyson now needs all of us to help her, as she has done for so many others.
