Let's get Mark off of the streets!

I found my homeless guy, Mark again today‼️ I brought him a big bag of food, drinks, and a little money. He is always so appreciative and kind. He pan handles to survive. He is has been homeless for almost 6 years due to unfortunate circumstances. Lost his drivers license, took the bus to work, lost his job because the bus was late too often, had to sell his car to stay afloat, and eventually lost his home. He spent most of his life as an irrigation specialist, and is just a couple years older than me and my husband. The sad thing is, if you have no one to help you in times of trouble, any one of us could end up just like him. He inspires me. I want to really help him get on his feet again someday and help him feel human again. He is always so excited when he talks, and I am sure he doesn't get much real human interaction at all. He even cleans up the area he is panhandling in from weeds and garbage. My hope is that we can raise enough money to get him off of the streets ASAP! I would like to raise enough money to get him into a motel for a week, get him some new clothing, toiletries, and food money. He is being threatened by other "homeless" in the area, and he told me today he was afraid for his life. I am working with a friend to get him into transitional housing and get him on his feet again, so this is for a temporary fix for now. TOGETHER, we can do this! Thank you for reading.❤️
