Lets Get Frank Home

Frank has been fighting Esophageal cancer for the past year.  In that time he has a total of 38 radiation treatments and 14 chemo treatments.  At every turn he has been fighing and beating everything this awful disease has thrown at him.  From needing a feeding tube, to a stroke, to pneumonia in both lungs that he is now fighting back from.  He is currently in the hospital recovering from his latest issues from the last two round of chemo.  The next step in the process of getting him back home is to transition from the hospital to a rehab facilities that can assist him with his physical therapy and get him back into good enough shape to be able to go home.  And this is where our issues come in.  His insurance has been great at covering most of the cost for all of his treatments and hospital stays.  Considering this we were shocked to find out that they did not cover any type of in-patient rehab.  We are now struggling to find a way to pay for not only the in patient rehab but the in home nursing care that will be needed for a bit when he does get to transition home.  The rehab facilities need up front payment when he transfers over in hopefully a week.    So many friend and family have been asking if there was anything they could do to help and at this point every little bit is a blessing.
