Let's Get EcoBronx A Vehicle

Hello! I'm Maranda L. Miller - owner/founder of EcoBronx LLC a mobile zero waste shop in Bronx, NY.  Our mobile shop was formed after observing Bronx residents' lack of accessibility to refillable and sustainable products during the first year of the pandemic.  The mobile shop is the Phase 2 of my vision of a Bronx EcoSpace.

EcoBronx needs their own vehicle to be a fully mobile zero waste shop!

We currently rent a UHaul van each weekend to attend local pop-up and farmer's markets.  We make our local deliveries via public transportation and sometimes using the rental van.  Additionally, own vehicle will allow us to go directly to some of our local makers for products.

The purchase/conversion of our own vehicle will allow EcoBronx to Meet the Customers where there at AND 

1.  Increase the Bronx community's access to refillable and sustainable products.  
2.  Allow EcoBronx to meet current and future customers where they live.
3.  Enhance our delivery abilities and offerings.
4.  Increase our refillable product options and allow for storage of products/storage.

After doing research we realize that we will need about $9000 to purchase and convert a secondhand vehicle(i.e., school bus, shuttle bus, or large cargo van) into a mobile shop.  We have a solid $2500 already from our 2021 crowdfund campaign and personal savings.  It is our hope that we can earn the remainder funds by March so that we are fully mobile with our own vehicle for the 2022 market season.
