Let's get Derek back on his feet!

Derek had a devastating fall off of a horse on July 8th, a fall that broke both of his legs and required major surgery. It will take three months for him to get to the end of his first recovery stage, then further months and lots of physical therapy and patience to see full recovery. Forced to be off his feet, Derek will be unable to get back to his normal work schedule for a few months. He is stationed in Ashland at his mom's place and she is his full-time caretaker for the next month or so. Taking a hit not only physically but financially makes recovery more worrisome, naturally. Derek is loved by many and his kindness and joyful personality inspire many of us. It would be nice to help him with his rent and medical expenses for the next few months and that's the reason why this site is set up.
