Let's get Dennis on holiday

So a few weeks ago I posted a post telling you all about Dennis who is my best friends dad and his recent ALS (motor neurone) diagnosis.
Dennis has always been a man's man, a healthy person with a love of life. Motor Neurones disease is a debilitating condition which causes muscle wastage stopping the brain from sending signals to the major muscles of the body ultimately causing the body to shut down. This has been a hard pill to swallow for Dennis and his family but together with his amazing daughters we have vowed to do what we can to raise awareness and start a fund raising campaign for this awful illness. Dennis wanted us to post this pic to show you how it affects the body. As you can see he went from being a healthy man to a much smaller version of his original healthy self. We are hoping to do a fund raiser in the very near future to get Dennis on holiday with his grandchildren and daughters as he has said that is something that he'd like to do. Too often we shy away from things that scare or upset us but this is reality and it can happen to anyone at anytime. Ignorance seems blissful but without knowledge and understanding things will never change. I hope you will support us with this fundraiser all help will be welcomed and appreciated.
