Let’s get cliff a truck

Donation protected
Attention all any anyone who has been a part of or impacted by camp bob:
our beloved maintenance worker, Cliff, told me last night that the transmission on his truck went, and that it’s basically a write of/ will cost the same amount to replace it as it will to fix it. Cliff only had this truck for a year, and I can remember his excitement when he finally found the truck he needed within his price range.
I woke up this morning thinking there must be something I can do to bless cliff during his situation, as he has blessed camp a thousand times over in so many ways.
For those of you who don’t know, cliff has been the maintenance man at our camp for the last several years. A jack of all trades, he shows up as soon as the snow melts in the spring, and stays till the end up camp cleanup, well into the late fall. He serves relentlessly, giving of his time and energy. (he would often show up on weekends or on a holiday because he just loved being here and serving the camp) Almost all of the new structures and developments you see at camp would not be here if it weren’t for him. His servant heart stems from his passion for the Lord and seeing how God works in this place, and his care for every camper and staff that enters this place.
Okay, rant over, I’ll get to the point:
SO this morning as I was thinking of how I could help in this situation, I thought that it was maybe an opportunity for US to show our appreciation to cliff for all that he has done, and continues to give to this place.
So I started a gofundme. I don’t know cliff’s financial situation, as I didn’t ask, and he also doesn’t know that I’m doing this, (here’s to hoping he doesn’t get mad..) BUT I do know that cliff is deserving of this, and I think there’s nothing more important than caring for those in our community.
SO if you know cliff, or even if you’ve just been impacted by camp and want to give back to this place, (because by giving back to cliff, you are giving back to camp) please feel free to donate! (And honestly don’t feel shy to make small donations.. 5 dollars is 5 dollars more than we had before!)
I will give all of the proceeds to cliff to get himself (hopefully) a new truck.

ALSO be encouraged that cliff really only needs/ wants a truck so that he can be more effective at his job here, such a selfless heart... OKAY I said I’m done ranting.
