<div>Last night, just after midnight, our community was shaken by a senseless and cowardly act of vandalism at The Half Moon. The front windows of the pub were brutally smashed with what appears to have been a hammer, with no regard for the safety of anyone who may have been inside at the time.
</div>
<div>This attack has caused significant damage to the property and has deeply affected a local landlord and their family who have given so much to Wolston over the years. The Half Moon has always been more than just a pub — it is a place of community, generosity, and support, consistently giving back and helping others whenever possible.
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, at present they have been told the cost of repairing the damage is not covered by insurance, leaving the family to face the full financial burden themselves. For this reason, we are asking for support from both locals and those further afield to help raise the funds needed for repairs and to stand shoulder to shoulder with this family during a truly dark time.
</div>
<div>Every contribution, no matter the size, sends a clear message that our community is strong, united, and will not be broken by acts of hate or destruction.
</div>
