Lets Cure Tucker

My husband Kyle and I are writing this on behalf of our son Tucker. Tucker was born with a birth defect called Hirschsprungs Disease, which affects the nerves in the bowel/intestine. His doctors initially thought having a pull through surgery would fix the problem which they did and took out 6-7 inches of damaged intestine. After that Tucker ended up developing Enterocolitis 3 times over the course of 2 months so they decided to give him an Ileostomy. 3 months after getting the ileostomy he had to be hospitalised from the flu which caused him severe dehydration, only to be re-admitted a week after that because his stoma retracted, causing him to get Enterocolitis again. When they took him into surgery to repair his ileostomy they discovered his bowel was full of ulcers. We are seeking further medical assessment at Nationwide Hospital in Ohio, USA with the possibility of surgery. Nationwide Hospital has a team of doctors and surgeons who specialize in cases like Tuckers. Unfortunately we will be paying all of the medical expenses. After missing out of the first year of his life due to multiple hospital stays we are determined to get answers and to hopefully resolve all of our sons medical issues.
