I am taking this time to reach out to our community, family, friend’s and anyone who has ever crossed paths with one of the greatest humans I know and our dearest friend, Veronica.

A few months ago whilst playing with her daughter, she noticed that she had a lump in one of her breast. Through extensive testing, it was brought to her attention the unthinkable.

On October 16, 2025, she was diagnosed with Her2 Triple Positive Invasive Carcinoma. Veronica has been nothing short of a trooper the last few month’s while navigating this new journey. She has currently completed 2 of her first two rounds of chemo. She has 14 rounds remaining, 2 of which will be done every two weeks and the other 12 will be done on a weekly basis. After that is completed, they will be doing surgery and than radiation. The oncologist has advised her that she is not able to return to work until after September 2026. As many of you may be aware, this is a crucial time for Veronica to get as much rest, solitude and be as stress-free as possible. Not being able to work comes with it’s own financial burdens and difficulties. Due to her nature of work, she is not eligible for EI and the disability benefit takes over 3 months to kick in. Veronica is not the type of person to reach out and ask for help, even in this state. Veronica is one of the most selfless people that I know and she has a heart a gold. This is a time where we get to show up for her and rally for her because she deserves it…..

BECAUSE SHE IS GOING TO KICK CANCER’S ASS.
