OUR FRIEND DANNY
I met Jhapeth Dharry, working for ADT in Queens, New York. In the office we call him Danny, and he would let you know that as his friend you should call him as such. Danny is known to be there for his friends and getting to know him I found that to be true. Time and time again Danny was there for me and the members of our team doing more than just pulling his weight but going above and beyond for his friends. Danny is a father to a young son and a husband to a loving wife. He works hard and does a tremendous job providing for his family. Each day he sets out to provide safety and security for his customers and community with a positive and friendly outlook on life. That's our friend Danny.
On June 23, 2020 at around 7:15pm, while out picking up food for his family, Danny left his wife and son in the car and went into a restaurant to retrieve his order. As Danny waited for his food, a fight had begun between two men. One man began swinging a chair and the other decided to pull a gun. A shot was fired, only hitting Danny, an innocent bystander, in the back. Just 31 years old, Danny's wife worried, went in and found that her husband had been senselessly shot. He was then taken to the hospital where he is in stable condition but still fighting to have a normal life.
I ask that you reach into hearts and come together with myself and the rest of Danny's friends and family to show your support as he will surely needed it with the tough and trying times ahead. I know Danny will appreciate it and would do the same for us all in our time of need.
