Leticia Vasquez accident assistance

This past Wednesday, October 3rd, a good friend Leticia (Leti) Vasquez was hit by a car as she was walking in a parking lot in Santa Monica. Her leg was badly broken. Thankfully she had a successful surgery on Thursday to repair the damage and will return to a family member's home to rest and recover after a few more days in the hospital. 

Leti is a wonderful and generous person who works extremely hard for her family. She is a single mother who recently helped put her only daughter Diana through college.  Leti works six or seven days every week doing domestic work for different families. The doctors have told her it will be at least six weeks before she can get back to work doing such physical labor. She also does not have health insurance. I am hoping to raise as much money as we can to offset the loss of her six weeks of wages, and if necessary (depending on the insurance of party who hit her), some medical bills as well.
