The Walkers Fire Fund

This morning, our dear friends the Walkers narrowly made it out of their home with their lives when their house caught on fire.  Always the unflinching optimists and very grounded in their faith, their response has been to just be happy they are all safe and alive, but their home burned to the ground and they have lost everything.   The Walkers were close friends we met in Guam, and they extended their kindness and generosity to us many times and in many ways, even offering to loan us one of their cars for months when our only car was stolen.  They have committed their lives to lifting up others, and they are now desperately in need of the same kindness and generosity they have shown countless people around the world.  Sam is an archaeologist and author who most recently has been performing research in Ethiopia--devastatingly, all of his research and work was lost in the fire.  We know Sam, Diane and their children Chris, Hilary, Byron, Colin, and Letebhran have wonderful friends and family around the globe who will want to help--please donate what you can, anything you give will be greatly appreciated!  Thanks SO MUCH!!!!
