Let's Show Lula's Some Love

For 28 years, Lula’s Pub has been one of Wilmington’s Best Kept Secrets (“If You Can’t Find Us, There’s A Reason”). In that time, Lula’s has been a gathering place for people who share a love for conversation, fellowship and community. Some of Lula’s patrons wander off the street, some drop by once a year, and some have been visiting since the first week it opened, almost 30 years ago. For those who have become Regulars, Lula’s has been the place where we have gathered to celebrate birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and other joyous milestones. It has also been where we instinctively gather in sad times as well. When a friend moves on, either to a new town or to the other side of the veil, Lula’s is where we come together to celebrate, mourn and remember. Lula’s is more than just a bar, more than just a place to drink and tell stories. It is a part of many people’s lives that would be irreplaceable. Lula’s could use some help now. Being forced to close the doors for 5 months now due to the pandemic, with no clear re-opening in sight, Lula’s is in need of some love from us. While unable to open, Lula's still has to pay rent and meet other financial obligations. Times are hard for everyone right now, but if you have enough to “buy a drink” symbolically by making a contribution, please consider doing so!
