As many of you may know, in the early summer of 2018, Todd Walker was diagnosed with Multiple Meyloma, a blood cancer. Todd has undergone a rigorous round of chemo therapy and is now moving on to the next step of treatment.
Todd worked as a lifeguard in the Okolona community during his youth, served his community for many years as a volunteer firefighter in Highview, and has worked at Clariant chemicals for the past 20+ years.
Todd and Gail have an amazing love story and have touched so many people in their careers and lives, and we would like to ask you to help lift them up during this most difficult time.
We would like to help support this beautiful family as the move onto the next phase of Todd’s treatment, a stem cell transplant. This will require a lengthy hospital stay away from home, time away from work for Gail, hotel stays, and travel expenses. Staggering medical bills are coming in quickly, as well as keeping up with monthly living expenses as you can imagine, things are getting pretty tight. Any donation is so greatly appreciated and will go directly to medical and living expenses.
We understand a monetary donation is not always possible.. and in that event, if you could please say a prayer and forward this to any of Todd and Gail’s extended family and friends, this would be a great help as well.
We will also be creating volunteer sign ups for meal trains, house cleaning services , and just about anything we can do to help. I will gladly pick up any gift cards, gas cards, or personal items if donated as well.
