On Thursday, November 5, 2020 our family said goodbye to our sweet Ashley Jean. The most kind, generous, spirited, beautiful soul you ever met. Our beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, niece, aunt, cousin, friend…
She left a handprint on the heart of all who knew her & loved her.
For the past 2.5 years Ashley has exhibited immense grace, faith, and strength as she battled a rare form of lung cancer (ROS-1). An absolute fighter until the end, her positive outlook was admirable & giving up wasn’t an option. There is peace knowing that her pain & suffering has come to an end, and she has returned Home to be with our Lord.
We have been overwhelmed with the immense outpouring of love, prayers, and sympathy from family & friends all over the country. The thoughtful messages have been greatly appreciated during this difficult time. Most people have asked if there’s anything they can do? Is there anything Joe & the kids need?
In addition to continuous prayers, as they navigate what the path ahead entails, there are substantial medical bills that have accumulated in the most recent months. We have created this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden of these medical expenses, so that Joe can focus on what is most important – his family. Any & all donations are greatly appreciated.
We know that Ashley is watching over us – little signs every day reassure us that her beautiful smile is shining down! And our faith is strengthened knowing that one day we will be reunited.
