Let's Help Corey Conquer Cancer

Dear Family and Friends, It is very difficult and heavy hearted for me to write this to you.  My nephew Corey Roth, who is 30 and the single father of a beautiful three year old daughter, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer which has metastasized to both lungs and his lymph nodes.    He has met with the GI cancer team at Moffitt Cancer and Research Center.  With his diagnosis and uncertainty, this news has certainly rattled our world.  At 30 years of age, you don’t expect to have to go through something this horrific much less plan for it. As a family, we don’t want Corey to worry about things financially.  Chemo and immunotherapy at Moffitt will be very expensive and is not all covered under his health insurance.  In addition, since the cancer center is over 2-hours away from home, he will have no choice but to be out of work during his procedures.    On Tuesday, Sept 25th they installed the port. Corey will be on a two-week rotation of chemo, which will be infused for 48 consecutive hours. Every three weeks he will be getting his immunotherapy which is part of a clinical trial.   I am reaching out to you at his time of need, support, hope and prayers.  Your generosity is greatly appreciated.   Let's help Corey conquer cancer!
